not to know, but to feel

To be whole is to acknowledge, not to force, change. For some it may be seen as putting faith in God; for others it may be simply trusting the process. Change comes about on its own, not as we imagine it will. It is often the urgency to be different which keeps us so much the same, unaware, feeling so incomplete, knowing so little peace.

Opening to even the most personally painful content of mind gives us an opportunity to experience the essentially impersonal universality of the process in which it is unfolding.

Letting go of our suffering is the hardest work we will ever do. To heal means to meet ourselves in a new way- in the newness of each moment where all is possible and nothing is limited to the old, our holdings released, our grasping seen with little surprise or judgment. Then the healing goes deeper than we ever imagined, deeper than we ever dreamed.

~Stephen Levine

I sweep my heart clean for the joy of being….

inquiry for today~ how are you invigorated right now?

learning how to love more deeply

God does not desire the soul to undertake any labor,

but only to delight in the first fragrance of the flowers-

the soul can obtain sufficient nourishment from its own garden.

~St. Teresa of Avila
