What do you see when you look in the mirror? Does your face look like you? Who are you? The questions invite us to examine the relationship between the form the world sees and how we feel inside, the coherence underlying many expressions. We have the same face all our lives and we have a different face every second. The face of the moment reveals the face of eternity. Each of our faces is a part of God’s face, a fragment of the divine. In each other’s faces we glimpse the face of the Beloved. In our own mirrors we see one of the many, many faces of the world. We are part of the beauty we seek. ~J. Ruth Gendler
maybe the senses become aligned when we wander long enough…..maybe this is why the feet and the eyes are so connected….
inquiry for today~ how many mirrors have you looked away from? what do you create out of what you see?
The desire to know your own soul will end all other desires. ~Rumi
