your view

After the long weeks

when the heat curled the leaves

and the air thirsted, comes

a morning after rain, cool

and bright. The leaves uncurl,

the pastures begin again

to grow,

the animals and the birds

rejoice. If tonight the world

ends, we’ll have had this day.

~Wendell Berry

there’s nothing worth missing out on this….

inquiry for today~ what is most vibrant today?

measuring discontent….

In a world myriad as ours, the gaze is a singular act:

to look at something is to fill your whole life with it,

if only briefly.

~Ocean Vuong
