Whether we are facing mild travails in our lives, or dealing with more extreme times,
we can address it in the same way:
Notice your emotions as they come and go—
impatience, weariness, resentment, contentment.
Whatever thoughts and feelings arise, try to meet them
with gentle acknowledgment and kindness.
This is what’s happening right now and it’s okay.
In that way, we are creating an inner environment
of spaciousness and lovingkindness,
no matter what is happening.
~Sharon Salzberg
take good care of the deeper soul….
inquiry for today~ what is seen is not always what is felt…..
The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something.
Don’t wait for good things to happen to you.
If you go out and make some good things happen,
you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope.
~Barack Obama
