When we slow down, meditate, take time in silence, especially these days,
we are more likely to notice the accumulated fatigue, grief, resignation etc.
that we may carry somewhat unconsciously. It’s felt as a kind of residue.
Reginald Ray says: “We are like the geese force fed for pate.
We have experience after experience without taking time to digest. “
Please devote some time to rest and respect the need
to metabolize the experiences received through body, heart and mind.
Recognize the exhaustion that arises from the effort to defend ourselves
from the uncertainty that characterizes life.

firelight of the heart…
inquiry for today~ may you rest in the timeless…
No one likes to talk about how
healing is directly related
to how much pain you’re willing
to witness and consciously
feel for yourself,
to release it from your body and mind.
It’s not love and light.
It’s shadow and flame.
