subtle spaces

We are saved by hope for that which we do not see

and we wait for it with patience.

~Thomas Merton

missing what might have been…

inquiry for today~ and then more life lingers….

for the good days….

Every symptom in the psyche is a prayer longing to be heard.

Often, what we pathologize is the soul’s poetry in disguse —

experience that could not yet be held in awareness,

now emerging to be seen, felt, and spoken.

A symptom is not an obstacle to healing,

but the beginning of a dialogue with

the intelligence of somatic being,

with the ally of the feeling body.

Inside the weeping wound is the unique medicine

for its unfolding.

The wisdom of the soul,

yearning to be decoded

and integrated,

this time by way of love.
