soul witness in action

Helen Keller
She,
In the dark,
Found light
Brighter than many ever see.
She,
Within herself,
Found loveliness,
Through the soul’s own mastery.
And now the world receives
From her dower:
The message of the strength
Of inner power.
….
Langston Hughes

can we really say what our essence feeds? where do we leave a trail of light? we do not need to see the results of the little feedings we share along the way….these gifts of the soul-depths become the archetypal maps for spiritual witnessing….and so it is….

Imagination is spiritual perception. Authenticity is spiritual presence. We can think of authenticity as the quality of expression, and imagination appears as the realm of Source, what authenticity draws on. Or the other way around: authenticity gives us the impulse, imagination gives us the image. Imagination is a bridge between our ordinary senses and the archetypal world which transcends the senses. It is the world of images which can inspire us, nourish us. We need to develop our authenticity, our inner ‘I Am,’ to receive ‘Sophia,’ our sacred wisdom, to learn to guide our tiny craft through cosmic waters……M.C. Richards

and so the light we share bears witness

So we stand on the brink of a new age: the age of an open world and of a self capable of playing its part in that larger sphere. An age of renewal, when work and leisure and learning and love will unite to produce a fresh form for every stage of life, and a higher trajectory for life as a whole. In carrying man’s self-transformation to this further stage, world culture may bring about a fresh release of spiritual energy that will unveil new potentialities. For who can set bounds to man’s emergence or to his power of surpassing his provisional achievements? So far we have found no limits to the imagination, nor yet to the sources on which it may draw. Every goal man reaches provides a new starting point, and the sum of all man’s days is just a beginning…..Lewis Mumford

  1. And the sum of all mans days is just a beginning … The truth in this simple sentence is remarkable. When we meditate on the time of our lives and the idea of eternity, we should see that any eon of time is just a beginning when we look across the dimensions of the universe … When we perceive fragments, we create separateness, where none exists … Our individual minds are truly miraculous, they take the whole universe and separate it down into quantum parts, our seemingly greatest wisdom, is perhaps our greatest fallacy! May the wind in your hair today connect you to all things ….

    • expanding consciousness invites us into the paradox of realizing we are so small and yet connected to all things….this insight is untouchable and unseeable and undefinable……may you sit in the seat of conscious unknowing g.f.s..

  2. To see the universe is to see the difference we make. One of my all time favorite movies is ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’. The premise is simple in that he (George) was given an amazing gift – the ability to see what the world might have been like without him. What a blessing in understanding that we all matter, we all make a difference. There in the slightest shift in shadow to light – in pink against smoke. Where we’ve been, they grieve without knowing why, so let us always love so that it remains to warm the places we have known. ~ May your day be filled with reminders of how much sweeter the world because of you. ~ Love, Bobbie

    • what a beautiful connection to heart space…..a remembrance of our collective breath that sparkles us into eternity…..I love knowing that to be missed is a birthright…..lovely you, leaving a lovely, sparkly trail as always…..in gratitude Bobbie….
