stumbling into blessings

Remember yourself. Remember yourself. Remember yourself. Feet to pavement, music blasting in ears, forget everything but the run. Cultivate presence. Become fierce about your autonomy. Take long drives with the windows down. Bless everything, even your regrets. Accept your regrets and allow them to teach you. Welcome admiration but decline the pedestal. Make friends with your unmet hope and allow it to guide you. Kiss your solitude and allow it to work through you. Let the sadness flatten you. Stay in bed until it lifts. Get rid of what does not serve. Let go of what no longer feels like you — clothing, decorations, people. Holding on just fills up space that could be put to much better use. Hold tight to that which brings you to your highest realization of self. Know your worth. Know your worth. Know your worth.……Jeanette LeBlanc

there is great comfort in the movement of our lives… the measures of beauty and the depth of our love…..where are the edges? why do we forget? don’t hold on too tight……curl into the wave and swoon……

Look at your life in terms of illumination and shadow. What stands in the light? In the darkness? Do the same thing with circular configurations. Are there aspects of your life that have followed a circular path? What experiences do you locate in the center of your life circle? On the circumference? Completely outside? Are there straight lines that run through your life? Consistent and unwavering conditions and commitments? How about zigzags? As we contemplate physical forms, they help us to see ourselves. Are there formless qualities of your life? Getting to the core involves a realization that we are in a process that is much bigger than ourselves and that all we can do is make contributions and connections between things, one day at a time, one instant to the next. The most vital expressions emerge when we are most relaxed, when we simply immerse ourselves in the immediate environment and trust that something significant will appear…..Shaun McNiff

kissing remembrances…

Try not to resist the changes that come your way. Instead let life live through you. And do not worry that your life is turning upside down. How do you know that the side you are used to is better than the one to come?…….Rumi

  1. Life is about honing the edges, whittling away so that we fit within the vessel we’ve created……….a part of all yet separate. Our path is narrow only in becoming……..once we’re moving, it opens wide on possibility. ~ Much love, Bobbie

    • you’ve written the poetics of being…..lovely… shedding skin, yet donning the finest shawl, feather boa or silk cape…….flying, gliding, yes….becoming…..may the magic of being find you Bobbie…..
