I have come to drag you out of yourself, and take you in my Heart. I have come to bring out the beauty you never knew you had and lift you like a prayer to the Sky………Rumi
the fragile beauty of exquisite care finds us in rare moments……bones of integrity hold the delicate wings of authenticity…..alighting us into the realness of who we are….fly strong….
Sometimes it can seem as though being human is a problem that spiritual practice is meant to solve. But Buddhist meditative and related practices actually have a different focus: developing our human faculties to see more clearly the true nature of things so that we can participate in and respond to how things are in a more generous and helpful way. Our individual awakenings become part of the world’s awakening. This means leaning into life, and to do that we have to recognize what gets in the way. The basic inquiry is ‘What is this?’ And it’s a way back to what we’re trying to avoid. We move closer to a life lived in response instead of reaction, closer to participation in the way things actually are…….Joan Sutherland
it is written in stars and hearts
Above the mountains
the geese turn into
the light again
painting their black silhouettes
on an open sky.
Sometimes everything
has to be
enscribed across
the heavens
so you can find
the one line
already written
inside you.
Sometimes it takes
a great sky
to find that
first, bright
and indescribable
wedge of freedom
in your own heart.
Sometimes with
the bones of the black
sticks left when the fire
has gone out
someone has written
something new
in the ashes
of your life.
‘You are not leaving,’
even as the light
fades quickly now,
‘You are arriving.’
……David Whyte
For the longest time I searched and searched for some sign of the beyond, for a vision of the other side of life, what I have found is that it was always there, that the other side is really here and now as well … who can tell us this though, it is something each one has to discover. Shall I move mountains ? I am sure that when there is a reason, then it will happen. Will becomes the key … sacred and rare in human form, there is the will of course that is nature, directed outside of our knowledge, then there is will driven by our desire … what shall we choose – our blessing and our dilemma … free will, free to choose, but there are so many! May you choose the moment as the moment chooses you …
Love this ‘advice’….this call to our own wonderment….to step outside and know that the prayer is our aliveness……peering up at mountains g.f.s….
The image got me………and I remember a time of standing in front of a mirror, gazing into my own almost black eyes, into a spec of amber………and wondering where that might lead, what worlds floated just beyond…….what eternity exists within my own? Oh, the mystery is forever worth the miles, and the wonder worth the wandering. 🙂 Let us fling open the windows and are our wings to climb! ~ Bobbie
a sublime moment….your joie de vivre is sparkling blue and silver…..you live the question……may the stars reflect your wings Bobbie……
