You may say my teaching is confusing
because I am not consistent. But I say,
‘Does a flame ever leap up from the fire
exactly the same way twice?’
The radiance of truth and life
does not fit into conceptual pockets.
It is always leaping out in celebration of itself.”“When I return to my true and ultimate origin,
there is no I who returns
nor origin to return to.”“Consciousness comes back for itself, all of itself.
It is never satisfied just to transcend illusion;
it always comes back to liberate illusion.……Adyashanti
holy days reset our equilibrium…….the magic softens us and eases our imperfections……may we allow the glow of these sacred days to unburden us…….
Let us be at peace with our bodies and our minds.
Let us return to ourselves and become wholly ourselves.
Let us be aware of the source of being,
common to us all and to all living things.
Evoking the presence of the Great Compassion,
let us fill our hearts with our own compassion—
towards ourselves and towards all living beings.
Let us pray that we ourselves cease to be
the cause of suffering to each other.
With humility, with awareness of the existence of life,
and of the suffering that are going on around us,
let us practice the establishment of peace in our hearts
and on earth.
……Thich Nhat Hanh
Though we know one another’s names and recognize one another’s faces, we never know what destiny shapes each life. The script of individual destiny is secret; it is hidden behind and beneath the sequence of happenings that is continually unfolding for us. Each life is a mystery that is never finally available to the mind’s light or questions. That we are here is a huge affirmation; somehow life needed us and wanted us to be. To sense and trust this primeval acceptance can open a vast spring of trust within the heart. It opens up our lives to become voyages of discovery, creativity, and compassion. No threshold need be a threat, but rather an invitation and a promise. Whatever comes, the great sacrament of life will remain faithful to us, blessing us always with visible signs of invisible grace. We merely need to trust.

visible signs of invisible grace……..the flock of cardinals, Christmas red against the lingering green outside my window.
No matter what kind of night I’ve had I can rejoice. “For then comes the morning, yesterday’s sorrows behind.”
grace in action…..grace in being……beloved truth, prayers sealed in faith……may love be the sign……
