In practice, we don’t have to change or get rid of anything. We merely learn to see through the false ideas of our self. We discover that we can let go of the limited sense of self, that grasping and identification are optional. We can shift our identity and learn that we are interconnected with all things. Love says ‘I am everything.’ Wisdom says ‘I am nothing’. Between these two my life flows.” Our uniqueness remains, but without self-centered grasping and fear. We discover that our identity is more tentative, fluid like a river, each moment born anew. Wisdom says we are nothing. Love says we are everything. Between these two our life flows.

what’s wrong with loving what you love?
You will experience loss, but eventually you will gain.
You will need to be kind to yourself. Always. All ways.
If you are unsure, then I will tell you that you are stronger than you know, beautiful beyond comprehension, and your beating heart deserves love and expansion. Give this to yourself, and in time, both your inner and outer world will be a magical place of love and joy.
Find ways to express your experience to and for yourself. This is a private act of self-love. A new story will open to us all if we play our part in focusing on what matters most to us. Love, freedom, play, exploration, curiosity. Hold these spaces within for yourself. You’re intelligent, you can prescribe your own healing actions. You may travel or dance or sing instead of writing through your pain, but know what you need and go about incorporating it into your gorgeous new story. ~Rachel Fry
