Over time, calling on a spiritual source changes how we perceive events and how we react to them. As soon as we stop to ask what Spirit wants in any situation, we create a receptivity for spiritual guidance. To ask such a question and sit in waiting readiness for the answer is a form of spiritual ritual. And for us to even notice the need for spiritual intervention, we have to be moving at a slow enough pace so that we can listen, and respond. This is the space of ritual.

I design rituals by the defiant nature of an ego that downplays my hopes….
inquiry for today~ receptivity is an opportunity for shifting perspective…..
The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you.
Don’t go back to sleep.
You must ask for what you really want.
Don’t go back to sleep.
People are going back and forth across the doorsill
where the two worlds touch.
The door is round and open.
Don’t go back to sleep.
