Ghandhi was once on a train that was about to pull out of a station. A reporter rushed up to the train window and requested a message from Ghandhi that he could take back to his village. As the train began to move, Ghandhi handed him a sentence that he had hastily scribbled on a piece of a paper bag: “My life is my message.” That quote causes me to examine my activities, not in a self-conscious way but rather as a source of clues to the ways in which I am living with integrity.
