for the days before and after

Drink your tea slowly and reverently,

as if it is the axis on which the world revolves-

slowly, evenly without rushing toward the future.

live the actual moment.

Only this moment is life.

~Thich Nhat Hanh

when I haven’t found the way…

inquiry for today~ how will you rest in the sun today?

wise fearlessness

People say that what we’re all seeking is a meaning for life. I don’t think that’s what we’re really seeking.

I think that what we’re seeking is an experience of being alive,

so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances with our own innermost being and reality,

so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive.

~Joseph Campbell,

    • Thank you Karen. It reminds me of this important reflection- “how do you want to feel?” and “what do you want to experience?”
      Be well:)
