trust a summer daydream

The solstice arrives today, 21 June. For those of us in the Southern Hemisphere, winter is rolling in and bringing longer nights and cooler energy. Meanwhile, in the Northern Hemisphere, the day will be long and the light will be abundant as you welcome summer.

Twice a year, we are met with this natural duality, toggling between Yin and Yang, light and dark, sthira and sukha (steadiness and ease), and all of the polarities within ourselves and our planet.

Look for opportunities such as this to let go of what no longer serves us and to embrace new energy. Now is the perfect time to remember this practice.

May you leap into whatever joy awakens your inner child and let flow and go all that no longer serves your authentic nature.

We cannot live in a world that is not our own, in a world that is interpreted for us by others. An interpreted world is not a home.
