
So much of our suffering comes from the mind’s habit of grasping, resisting,
and believing that peace lies somewhere else.
The response is not shame. It is awareness.
When we bring a gentle, compassionate attention to our thoughts, fears, and desires,
we begin to see that we don’t have to be ruled by them.
We can hold them with kindness instead of becoming entangled in them.
This doesn’t mean our habits disappear overnight.
But awareness creates space. And in that space, freedom becomes possible.
