call to care

I always forget how important the empty days are, how important it may be sometimes not to expect to produce anything, even a few lines in a journal. A day when one has not pushed oneself to the limit seems a damaged, damaging day, a sinful day. Not so! The most valuable thing one can do for the psyche, occasionally, is to let it rest, wander, live in the changing light of a room.

when wisdom seeps in…

inquiry for today~ how will you harvest love?

how to be….

Maybe we can view that deep hunger for a genuine song over mindless chatter, or a soulful spark over a busy life, as a quiet reassurance that our inner world is simply too vast to be contained by a fleeting world. When the weight of everything around us feels too small for what we feel inside, it is a beautiful invitation to just step back, breathe deeply, and find a steady home in the gentle peace of our own presence right now.
