Ellen Langer talks about giving up evaluation in favor of a personal renaissance………………….

Personal growth is marked by being responsive rather than reactive to the world around us. When we are less reactive, we are able to make more choices. By contrast, we find ourselves stuck in place when we get attached to situations because of evaluations. Once we’ve achieved a personal renaissance, we enjoy the excitement as though everything is at stake but we have the awareness that nothing is……….

My work has led me to conclude that the loneliness, boredom, and feelings of inadequacy people experience are usually the results of a lack of connection with themselves……….

This reminds me to ‘see’ what I’m looking at….untethering….uniquely go I who no longer knows who I needs to be….

Ironically say I, the feeling of egolessness, is the journey home & the experience of the mindful self………..Virginia Woolf

I’ll put on The Studio Hat to remind me again & again….no I…..
