lift your bleeding heart up, up to the dark night…..

hearts held gently

Dharma is not about credentials. It’s not about how many practices you’ve done, or how peaceful you can make your mind. It’s about how naked you’re willing to be with your own life, & how much you’re willing to let go of your masks & your armor & live as a completely exposed, undefended, & open human person…..Reginald Ray

take a deep breath & sit awhile…lay your heart down beside you…look out on the horizon…..bleed for awhile oh so gently….then return your heart oh so tenderly…..renewed & purged….an uncovering of light to enter into dusk….to remember another day comes tomorrow….

When grapes turn to wine,

they long for our ability to change.

When stars wheel

around the North Pole,

they are longing for our

growing consciousness.

…..Rumi

this longing to hold the heart, put it down, & then pick it up again, is the human condition….the symbolic act of surrender, fear & change….then beginning the cycle again……be well…..be easy with your heart…..be blessed with your heart beating softly in your chest…..this is our dharma….

God can be funny when the heart skips a beat

Waking up this morning, I smile,

Twenty four brand new hours are before me.

I vow to live fully in each moment

& to look at all beings with the eyes of compassion….

….Thich Nhat Hanh

  1. I do agree with the thoughts of Thich Nhat Hanh . life should be lived to the fullest every day 🙂

  2. You have such a gift for pointing straight to “the heart of the matter.” Indeed we must be gentle with ourselves as life transforms us again and again…
