for the love of wholeness

Through the sacred art of pausing, we develop the capacity to stop hiding, to stop running away from our experience. We begin to trust in our natural intelligence, in our naturally wise heart, in our capacity to open to whatever arises. Like awakening from a dream, in the moment of pausing our trance recedes and Radical Acceptance becomes possible…….Tara Brach

from here we can sweep it all up into a daydream, a colorful weekend adventure, a mystic’s denial……..but no, we must simply be with it and let it carry us into who we truly are…….

Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them—that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like……….Lao Tzu

allow trust

My path is the path of stopping,
the path of enjoying the present moment.
It is a path where every step brings me back
to my true home. It is a path that leads nowhere.
I am on my way home. I arrive at every step.
……Thich Nhat Hanh

  1. “the path of enjoying the present moment….the path that leads nowhere…..I arrive home at every step.” Mind boggling for me. I have always been future oriented, so it has been a long learning to become a process person rather than a goal oriented one. Even intellectually, I still question whether we need a balance… It seems to me ..the peace I find in the present moment needs the paradox of the pull of purpose to give it meaning rather than to just become an escape.
