Above the mountains
the geese turn into
the light againpainting their
black silhouettes
on an open sky.Sometimes everything
has to be
enscribed across
the heavensso you can find
the one line
already written
inside you.Sometimes it takes
a great sky
to find thatfirst, bright
and indescribable
wedge of freedom
in your own heart.Sometimes with
the bones of the black
sticks left when the fire
has gone outsomeone has written
something new
in the ashes
of your life. You are not leaving.
Even as the light
fades quickly now,
you are arriving.~David Whyte
to ask the questions………how wide? how deep ? how wild? how full? how clear? possibilities are endless when it comes to maps and souls……
Out of the ground of being, what we’ve seen is that we can’t actually look to thoughts to tell us what’s ultimately true and real. In this deeper awareness, the way that we use thought and language becomes much more fluid, because we don’t have to protect our thoughts. We no longer have to assert our beliefs, which are merely thoughts, in a domineering manner. In other words, the way we speak the thoughts that arise in our mind, and the way we communicate, are done from a much lighter place, because we know that reality is something that arises from beyond thinking. In this way, thinking becomes a way to express ourselves, not a means to demand that reality be the way we think it should be. When we’re truly able to know that whatever we think or say isn’t the ultimate truth, then communicating becomes much more of a dance, a play, because we don’t have to win or end up being right or correct our communications. This, in fact, is what “wise action” is. Activity, speech, and relationship that arises from wisdom and is in harmony with the moment. Each and every moment requires a different response than the last moment. ~Adyashanti
My Heart is so small, it’s almost invisible.
How can You place such big sorrows in it?
“Look,” He answered,
“your eyes are even smaller,
yet they behold the world.
~Rumi

Is it moment by moment or do we live in one eternal moment? Is the duality of past and future what surrounds our presence or does our presence crate duality ?
we know who we are when we let go of the past……a true paradox worth living into I think…..
