Little things seem nothing, but they give peace, like those meadow flowers which individually seem odorless but all together perfume the air.
we so easily lose touch with our vision and meaning…..but when we find the smallest detail and connect deeply, the world becomes vast and mysterious once again…..
If the sight of blue skies fills you with joy; if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you; if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive. ~Eleonora Duse
We do not create a sense of space; we attune with it. The mind cannot manufacture spacelike awareness because it is already here. It is who we already are. It quietly awaits our conscious discovery. The sense of space grows stronger the less we believe that we are limited to our minds and bodies. Our lives change as we feel more of a sense of space within and around us. We become more intimate with our experience and, at the same time, less attached to outcomes. Adyashanti describes this perspective as “witnessing from the inside.” We are very close to our experience- in the very center of it, actually- without being lost in it. Something deep within each of us, this spacious awareness, is welcoming our reactions just as they are. What a blessing. ~John Prendergast
