Your dark night may make your familiar world inaccessible, but it also puts you in touch with an unfamiliar realm, perhaps a new kind of existence altogether, and it may make you feel you are living in-between places, the known and the unknown. This often called liminal, meaning ‘on a threshold,’ not quite in and not quite out. Your dark night may be a rite of passage. It may be offering an opportunity to make a significant turn in your life. It isn’t easy to make these turns, largely because they demand that you enter the unknown. You may have to dig deep into your resources- your past experiences, your learning, the personal qualities you’ve already developed- so the dark night takes you deep. ~Thomas Moore

Letting there be room for not knowing is the most important thing of all.
