when I choose to live well

She loved the sea. She liked the sharp salty smell of the air, and the vastness of the air, and the vastness of the horizons bounded only by a vault of azure sky above. It made her feel small, but free as well.   ~George R.R. Martin

when it’s your turn to live under rainbows, will you be fierce and alive?

inquiry for today~ on this, my birthday, I choose to listen well, be quiet, and hold fiercely to my deep longings…….

how strong is this day?

Watch the sunrise at least once a year, put a lot of marshmallows in your hot chocolate, lie on your back and look at the stars, never buy a coffee table you can’t put your feet on, never pass up a chance to jump on a trampoline, don’t overlook life’s small joys while searching for the big ones.       ~H. Jackson Brown

  1. As my root teacher, Thich Nhat Hanh, says–Happy Continuation Day! Your words are a daily prelude to my morning sit, and I am deeply grateful. Live well and enjoy this lovely day. Palms together, Bonnie
