We all share the need to feel safe and at ease in our spiritual journeys so that we may deeply explore our places of healing, our places of injury, our joys, and our sorrows. We are vulnerable and tender when we undertake such explorations. And just as we are so much more than who we think we are as individuals, we are also so much more than who we think we are as communities. As we enlarge our spiritual capacity to be with all of our experience, we also gain the capacity to be with the experience of greater numbers of beings and greater numbers of communities. The Dharma invites us into the unconditional, into the expansiveness that community and Sangha represent, into the vast connectedness we share as a Universal Family.
