this way of seeing

What carried me through the descent:

A spark of life

A thought

A song

Or something else that has no name

A cloud

A promise of tomorrow

A bird flying over me

The voice of my grandmother

Or something I can no longer remember

A book I read

A night of dancing at my favorite club

A memory that never left me

The earth

Or something that never existed

The pain that was my companion

The knot in my stomach

Hope

Fear as a constant

Or something that whispered in my ear

The garden I loved

The trees lined up on my way to school

The music I love blasting while I drive

Generosity

Or something that is not of this world

Forgiveness of me and others

Or something I forgot how to spell

The Enneagram

The Soul Metaphor

Poetry and Prose

Writing with my sisters

Or something that made me who I am

My mythos

Archaeology and History

Seeking for truth

Acceptance

Or something that is with me from the dawn of time

My cat

The sun

Breath and breadth

Doing good

Or something that always belonged to me

I just didn’t know it…

What about you?

What carried you through the descent?

~Corina Andranache

how can I see it all with love?

inquiry for today~ it’s a matter of grace and grit….

when mysteries weave together…

I learn by going where I have to go.

~Theodore Roethke
