Words are waves of energy that move through your body
and into the world around you.
Written words, spoken words, thoughts and mantras;
words can be weapons of separation or benevolent bridges
from the depths of your awakening into the manifest world.
Words are power.
Words can harm and words can heal.

how many times shall we surrender to what is really happening? how many times shall we consider our way as small as the first step? how many times shall we hold the other more gently, and begin again?
When we discover the middle path, we neither remove ourselves from the world nor get lost in it. We can be with all our experience in its complexity, with our own exact thoughts and feelings and drama as it is. We learn to embrace tension, paradox, change. Instead of seeking resolution, waiting for the chord at the end of a song, we let ourselves open and relax in the middle. In the middle we discover that the world is workable. Ajahn Sumedo teaches us to open to the way things are. “Of course we can always imagine more perfect conditions, how it should be ideally, how everyone else should behave. But it’s not our task to create an ideal. It’s our task to see how it is, and to learn from the world as it is. For the awakening of the heart, conditions are always good enough.”~Jack Kornfield
The path of mindfulness, awareness, kindness, and compassion will take us as deep as we’re willing to go. not only can it help us to relieve our stress, but it can arouse in us the courage to pull back the curtain and honestly face our patterns and conditioning, tracing them back to unconscious stories that shape how we see the world, and the other people in it. It can be helpful to notice our preconceptions and stories in the quiet of a meditation session, but it can also be powerful to notice our biases on the spot, in the heat of the moment, and switch things up.
