There the wisdom of connection waits, beneath our immediate circumstances. When we care enough to pull the heart’s thread, we uncover the one common story we all come from. So listen to your life, the way you would listen to a sage too humble to call himself a sage. Look for the story behind all you’ve been through, the way you would search for the calming silence in the middle of a forest. Stories carry what keeps us alive the way veins carry blood.
