Staring down chaos, we can recognize that there is no space, no ease, no footing in it. No matter the degree of investment that the self had in attempting to choreograph circumstances, in attempting to sustain what appears to be desirable and keep what appears to be undesirable at bay, it has no traction. Aware of the insubstantiality of our beliefs and assumptions and egos, we also become aware that there is a far greater power at play here. That far greater power is the awareness in which this chaos, all of these whirling thoughts and feelings and sensations, is occurring. That far greater power is the endless play of formless presence, the ground of being, unfolding its ephemeral display of forms. And that far greater power, beyond self, is beckoning. ~Kathleen Dowling Singh
aging and pain and despair and illness all converge on us at some time…..what does that mean?
inquiry for today~ how will this springtime and rebirth allow you to come alive?
Stand still. The trees ahead and bushes beside you
Are not lost. Wherever you are is called Here.
The forest knows
Where you are. You must let it find you.
