the gathering time
Author In Blue
the gathering time
to widen our view of what is true
from here to there
escape into the real dream
clouds fade away & then the glow
searching for a suitable fantasy
a funny kind of estrangement
to bury the dark
a kind of nothingness
into the shadows & mist
to dream of flying in a world without sky
offering a gift of light
happenstance & longing
in & out of the horizon’s lines
in sync with love’s boundlessness
