Author In Blue

a little closer

emptiness left behind

holding open the petals

devoted to something

your offering to mind

faith & luck & looking behind

swallowed

wait for blooms to fade into beauty

seeking that which is

surprising treasures along the way

to reveal, like the slow petals of a rose

enchantment with the norm

feel your funny little ways

in the light after dark

waiting for bliss
