Author In Blue

the beautiful muck of our lives

the beauty of light seeking

we know the heart before we know the self

finding the space to dive down deep

harmony in the subtle chaos

the cage is wide open

to remember what we’ve never known

it is here & then it is gone

how can we enter the mystery?

whispers in a daydream

where loons call in the distant dawn

brittle weeds left untouched

painting our days with care & attention

a rebellion of the complacent heart

carrying the remnants of cloudy souls
